Don't Let My Parents onto Facebook!!

It's really weird that nonstudents and parents use Facebook ... It makes me feel really uncomfortable that my older aunt has Facebook, because she says that she likes to check up on her teenage nieces and nephews and takes our pictures for her own use. That's creepy.

My mom tried to 'friend' me but I denied her request ... I don't want my mom commenting on my pictures. That would be weird.

How many people have spouses who are addicted to the TV?

I think something like Facebook will (eventually) be pretty standard in the same way the Internet and cell phones are standard

I would love to do that but I don't ... Facebook can suck you in. I don't have time to get sucked in.

I see this as a place to have the illusion of relationship

It allows the community to see who I am, information about the college, my role in working with the college and my personal relationship with my campus

It's definitely cost effective for us in ways that other ways of advertising wouldn't be

It amazes me the number of people actually using it ... It's very interesting who you can find and who can find you. I'd caution people that it can get addicting.
